Film is Powerful — filled with magic to not only tell the stories of our communities but to define our own. As a creative, my work with the Black Mecca project completely redefined my relationship to my craft. A space curated to uplift and expand the liberation of Black People, over a 6 month period I was able to document the rise of a revolutionary third space. Connecting with thought leaders throughout Atlanta, this project detailed the collaborations between community organizers in their
mission delivers an exceptional reevaluation of how Atlantians view themselves within the lens of the current structures.
